Over 200 Business Leaders Across Tennessee Endorse John Rose
Rose’s Business Leaders Coalition Encompasses All Facets of Tennessee’s Economy
Cookeville, Tenn. – Over 200 business leaders from across Tennessee have announced their
support for conservative CEO John Rose in his campaign to be Tennessee’s next Governor. The
coalition includes leaders from small businesses, as well as from some of the state’s largest
companies.
“This election isn’t simply about choosing a candidate. It’s about deciding what kind of leadership
Tennessee wants for the future. I believe our state is strongest when it’s led by people who have
built businesses, created opportunities, remained connected to their communities, and
understand that public office is about serving others—not building a political career,” said Jimmy
Granbery, Chair of H.G. Hill Company in Nashville, and a member of the coalition.
“Each of these fellow leaders know the sacrifices that it takes to grow a business and build
something from the bottom up. I am so honored to have their support. Tennessee has had a
history of electing Governors who have led in business, and it is important we have someone in
the Governorship who can hit the ground running on Day One and doesn’t need on-the-job

About John Rose
Congressman John Rose (TN-6), an eighth generation Tennessean, announced his candidacy
for Governor on March 20, 2025, at the site of the Tennessee State Fair in Wilson County. His
conservative record in Congress, mutual support with President Trump, and deep roots in
agriculture have helped him gain support from voters across the state. Rose is a successful
businessman, served as Tennessee’s Commissioner of Agriculture, and represents the 6th
District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He and his wife Chelsea have two children, and
live on their Dekalb and Smith County farm which has been in the Rose family since 1790.
