John Rose Releases Short Film Highlighting His Background to be Governor
Rose is a Christian, Farmer, Businessman and Eighth-generation Tennessean
NASHVILLE, TN – Conservative John Rose, a successful businessman and current
Congressman, has released a short film entitled Foggy Morning, highlighting his background and
experience to be Governor.
“John Rose is the most qualified candidate in the Governor’s race. John is a successful
businessman, farmer, eighth-generation Tennessean, and strong supporter of President Trump
and his America First agenda. He is not a career politician and is someone who can lead our
state from Day One,” said Chris Devaney, Chairman of the John Rose for Governor campaign.

Excerpt from Foggy Morning:
John Rose: When I wake up in the morning, and there is usually a heavy fog on here. We are
near the Caney Fork River and the Smith Fork Creek.
VO: John Rose, Century Farmer and CEO. I look out across the landscape and I reflect on how
blessed I am to get to be here, in this time and this place. But my thoughts almost always turn to
the future. I think about what this will be like for my kids, for my boys. One of the principal
concerns I hear from native Tennesseans, but I also hear it from people who come here. They
like the pace of life that we have in Tennessee, and they are all worried about that going away.
Congressman John Rose (TN-6), an eighth generation Tennessean, announced his candidacy
for Governor on March 20, 2025, at the site of the Tennessee State Fair in Wilson County. His
conservative record in Congress, mutual support with President Trump, and deep roots in
agriculture have helped him gain support from voters across the state. Rose is a successful
businessman, served as Tennessee’s Commissioner of Agriculture, and represents the 6th
District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He and his wife Chelsea have two children, and
live on their Dekalb and Smith County farm which has been in the Rose family since 1790.
