    Meet John

John is a conservative outsider and lifelong Tennessean. He is raising his family on the Generational Rose family farm because Tennessee is his home.

In fact, John is the 8th generation to live and farm in the adjoining Temperance Hall and Lancaster communities in Dekalb and Smith Counties. He started working on the farm as a kid and was raised in nearby Cookeville. John graduated from Cookeville High School and continued his education at Tennessee Tech University, home of the Golden Eagles. He studied agriculture at Tech, an easy choice for him since farming has always been a passion of his.

What's on your grocery list? ✅Eggs ✅Ground beef ✅Milk Grocery prices have come down recently, but they are still TOO HIGH for Tennessee families. As a father of two boys who drink A LOT of milk, I've seen it firsthand. 🥚🍞🥛A Governor can't single-handedly bring down grocery prices, but here's what I'll do: Improve infrastructure to help move food from the farm to the dinner plate in the most efficient manner possible. Increase Tennessee energy production to keep input costs at all levels of the supply chain as low as possible. Develop a qualified workforce through top-notch education to fill the jobs it takes to produce, transport, market, and sell our food. Support Tennessee farmers. Food produced close to home is the cheapest food.

We love Tennessee because we love our hometowns. Tennessee is truly the best place in all of America to live and raise a family. It was my pleasure to talk with members of the Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce at their Holiday Mixer. These folks help create jobs and offer services and products locally year after year.

🚨Making Tennessee safe is a must-do for our next Governor. 🚨Memphis and Nashville shouldn't be on the nation's "most dangerous cities" lists. 🚨That's why I'm working hard to formulate a strategy that will build on current momentum and make our cities safe - quickly.

American farmers and foresters grow the food and fiber to feed, clothe, and house the world. It was my honor to speak at the Annual Farm City Breakfast in Cookeville.

Period. End of story. I'm not standing idly by while U.S. Senators: 1) Empower themselves to sue taxpayers for $500,000+++ 2) Penalize YOU for the mistakes of the Biden Administration We need a Senator to step up and lead the charge to make this right.
